By creating an account or using VidDrop ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.

These Terms apply to all users of VidDrop, including videographers who upload content and couples/clients who view and download content.

2. Description of Service

VidDrop is a wedding video delivery platform that allows professional videographers to:

  • • Upload and store wedding videos temporarily (90-180 days)
  • • Create professional delivery pages for clients
  • • Provide 4K streaming and original file downloads
  • • Send automated expiry reminders

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

Eligibility

  • • You must be at least 18 years old to use VidDrop
  • • You must be a professional videographer or business to create an account
  • • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • • You may not create multiple accounts or share account credentials

Account Security

  • • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

  • • Upload wedding videos and related content that you own or have rights to
  • • Create delivery pages for your legitimate clients
  • • Use the Service for professional wedding videography business purposes

Prohibited Uses

You may not use VidDrop to:

  • • Upload copyrighted content without permission
  • • Share illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • • Violate any laws or regulations
  • • Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
  • • Distribute malware or engage in phishing
  • • Circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • • Use the Service for non-wedding video content without permission
  • • Resell or redistribute access to the Service

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of all videos and content you upload
  • License: You grant VidDrop a limited license to store, process, and deliver your content
  • Rights: You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and share your content
  • Responsibility: You are responsible for any copyright or intellectual property issues

VidDrop's Intellectual Property

  • • VidDrop retains ownership of its platform, technology, and branding
  • • You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our Service
  • • Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

6. Pricing and Payments

Credit System

  • Pricing: VidDrop operates on a credit-based system: $25 per wedding delivery
  • Payment: Credits are purchased in advance through Stripe
  • Usage: Credits are consumed when you create a new delivery
  • Expiry: Unused credits may expire based on our current policies

Refund Policy

  • • Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased
  • • Refunds may be provided at our discretion for technical issues
  • • Disputes should be reported within 30 days of purchase

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing users.

7. Content Storage and Expiry

  • Temporary Hosting: All content is hosted temporarily (90-180 days as configured)
  • Automatic Deletion: Videos are permanently deleted after the expiry date
  • No Recovery: Once deleted, content cannot be recovered
  • Backup Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining your own backups
  • Expiry Notifications: We will send reminders before content expires

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Service Availability and Support

Service Level

  • • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • • Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

Support

  • • Support is provided via email during business hours
  • • Response times may vary based on issue complexity

10. Termination

Termination by You

  • • You may terminate your account at any time
  • • Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits
  • • Your content will be deleted according to our standard expiry policies

Termination by VidDrop

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • • Violate these Terms of Service
  • • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • • Fail to pay required fees
  • • Abuse our Service or support team

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service Disclaimer

VidDrop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • • Complete security or privacy of your content
  • • Compatibility with all devices or browsers
  • • Recovery of deleted content

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidDrop shall not be liable for:

  • • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • • Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
  • • Data loss or corruption
  • • Third-party actions or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify users of significant changes by:

  • • Posting updated Terms on our website
  • • Sending email notifications to registered users
  • • Displaying notices in our Service

Continued use of VidDrop after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
